He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Searl and Mary Searl (O'Neal); his siblings, Jim, Phil, Bill Searl, Marie Searl and Mary McLaughlin; his father-in-law Melvin Spears; and his sisters-in-law, Diane Spears and Lisa Spears.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Spears; his pets, Peanut and Chloe; his stepchildren, Melanie Hinkle (Seth), Ashley Salmon (Danny), Justin Fraley and Tyler Kelley (Jennifer); his mother-in-law Carol Spears; his siblings, Mike Searl, Charlie Searl (Debra), Tom Searl, Steve Searl (Alana), Ed Searl (Cathy) and Rosanne Lytle (David); and his siblings-in-law, Terri Maddox (Jerry), Brenda Hoover, Cathy Searl (Ed), Rick Mclaughlin and Leroy Spears (Carrie). He is also survived by many family members and friends.
