She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Leonard McCarthy and Mary Florence McCarthy (Mudd); her husband Leo "Pat" Patterson; her son Dennis Patterson; and her siblings, Helen Fullerton (Narvin), Clara Doyle (Joe) and Donald McCarthy.

She is survived by: her son Michael J. Patterson; her granddaughter Jennifer Yoes (David); her great grandchildren, Natanie Yoes, Kaelynn Renee Yoes and Eliana Anne Yoes; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy McCarthy and Rosa McCarthy.
