With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laura A. Smith of Warsaw, Indiana, born in Carrollton, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melrose Brandon and Hattie Erline Brandon (Sims); her significant other Phillip Smith, Sr.; her son Phillip Smith, Jr.; and her siblings, David, Walter, Robert, Kenneth Brandon, Edna McCool and Rebecca Johnson Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Bambi Hyde of Warsaw and Chauncey Smith (Aleta) of Pierceton; her grandchildren, Josh Hyde, Dustin Baker (Carla), Brooks Smith and Jared Smith (Taylor); and her siblings-in-law, SteveSmith, Carol Brandon, Brenda Brandon, Sallie Brandon and Erma Brandon. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be directed to the K21, Cancer Care Fund or or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Pierceton Fire Department - Envelopes are available at any Titus Funeral Home location.
