He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester C. Long and Sarah V. Long; and his wife Alice Rhodes. He is survived by: his children, Jerry L. Long (Gayle) and Darla J. Guy (Mark) of Galveston; and his brother Robert Long of Naples, FL.. He is also survived by three granddaughters, nine great grandchildren.
