He is survived by: his children, Virginia Carrel (Bob) of Vincennes, David Carie (Sharon) of Washington, IN, Jeff Carie (Laura) of Vincennes, IN and Scott Carie (Tina) of Brookville, IN.; his grandchildren, Ethan Carrel, McKenzie Skirvin, Joshua Carie, Jamie Glass, Jill Bieberich, Joel Carie, Jodie Neukam, Jacie Graber, Nicholas Carie, Molly Carie and Jonathan Greene; and his siblings, Lawrence "Windy" Carie of Teutopolis, IL and Mary Lou Snider of Vincennes, IN..
