He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Heath and Frances Heath; his brothers, Wally, Lloyd and Kenneth; and his granddaughter Temperance Heath.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Heath; his siblings, Marty (Sharron Heath) and Brenda (Jim Ramsey); his children, Michael (Heather Heath), Annie (Jerry Reneer), Travis Heath and Anthony (Bridget Heath); his grandchildren, Justin Heath, Matthew Bubenzer, Devlin Heath, Hayden Heath, Alexus Heath, Trinity Heath, Jaxon Heath, Carter Heath, Andelin Heath and Nichlas Heath; and his sister-in-law Nancy Heath.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made in Gerald's memory to the funeral home to help defray the funeral expenses.
