He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Coots and Ruby Coots; his grandson Ozzy Coots; and his sister Cinda Mae. He is survived by: his wife JoElla Coots (Wohler); his sons, Andrew Coots (Cheryl Mickey) and Tim Coots; his grandchildren, Cameron Smith, Nicolette Coots Roland, Claudia Coots and Julian Coots; and his siblings, Rose Coots, Myra Weathers, Mike Coots, Carolyn Ferren, Faye Coots and Joel Coots (Margie).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Playground Fund.
