It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas J. Ahlman of Valparaiso, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ahlman and Muriel Ahlman (Hoff); his stepmother Gladyce Ahlman; his sister-in-law Eileen Gardner; and his friend Rev. James Meade.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Baker; his friend Jay Ramirez of Valparaiso; his brothers, Dick Ahlman (Priscilla) of Des Plaines, IL and Bill Ahlman (Joan) of Dundee, IL; his stepsister Barbara Colon (Steve) of Winthrop Harbor, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Baker of South Bend, Ann Kershner (Bob) of Plymouth, Jean Larrabee of Decatur and Joe. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews.
