He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Catherine Patricia McGuckin; his brother John D. "Jack" McGuckin; his parents-in-law, Francis J. and Elizabeth Redar; his brother-in-law John F. Redar; and his aunts and uncles, Sally Phillips, Sam Phillips, Don and Bernie Ruge.
He is survived by: his wife Martha J. McGuckin; his children, Catherine McGuckin, Robert McGuckin (Terryl) and Michael McGuckin (Diane); his grandchildren, Madisen, Matthew, Natalie and Dawson; his siblings-in-law, Peggy McGuckin (Lennertz), Robert Redar (Eleanor), David Redar (Jill) and Paul Redar; and his cousin Mary Kay Freis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
