He was predeceased by: his former wife Paula Grede; his parents, Philip Grede and Mildred Grede; his brother Robert Grede; and his great grandchild Alaina Grede.
He is survived by: his children, Phillip Grede Jr. (Pamela) and Kelly Donohoe (Timothy); his stepchildren, Jennifer Oakes (Dennis) and Jeffrey Eichensehr (Sharon); and his brother George Grede (Carol). He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
