Akers (Surrett); his daughter Brittany Lee Ohmann (Donald); his stepchildren, Tiffany Petersen and John York; his grandchildren, Lukas Ohmann, Ariyah Ohmann, Summer Petersen, Austin Petersen, Jake Nelson and Bruce Feiffer II; his siblings, Sheila Akers, Barb Akers-Littel, Nancy Akers-Ogrezovich and Terry Akers; his wife Lisa Akers; and his brother Bobby Akers.
