He is survived by: his wife Annabelle Belongia of Valparaiso, Indiana.; his children, Michael Belongia (Karen), Marvin Scheeringa (Barb), Martin Scheeringa (Anita), Debra Kinder (Steve), Ruth Modglin (Jerry) and William Scheeringa; his daughters-in-law, Carol Scheeringa and Canddi Scheeringa; and his sister Jean Abel (Tim).
