He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Gilbert and Daisy Geraldine Knarr; his brother Jim; and his nephew Brad. He is survived by: his wife Mary (Ritchey); his son Geoffrey (Takeisha); his grandchildren, Gavin Gray, Kherrington, Geoffrey, Declan and Serena; his siblings, Ron (Jean), Marilyn (Vince) and Vinton (Carol); and also Fumi.
