She was predeceased by: her parents, August Redigonda and Angelina Redigonda (Pannozzo); her children, Cynthia and Fredrick Markis; and her siblings, Phillip and Marie Redigonda.
She is survived by: her children, Phil Markis of Colorado, Marcia Shurr (David) of Valparaiso, Steve Markis of Ohio, Ibraheem Abdullah (Frebi) of Wisconsin, Becky Paul (William) of Michigan and Bilal Markis of Wisconsin. She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren, 18 Great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
