He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edmund Holmes and Anne Theresa Holmes (Kelley); his wife Sue Holmes of Urbana; his children, Donna Freeman (Craig) of Scituate, Kelley Holmes of Austin, David Holmes of Seattle, Meghan Holmes (Jesse Koslow) of Urbana and Michaela Ware (Aaron) of Coventry; his grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew Freeman, Moira and Sally Ware; and his siblings, Bob Holmes (Denese) of Glocester and Sally Ellis.
