He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Byers and Ethel Byers (Harshman); and his siblings, Albert Byers, Kenneth Byers, Omar Byers, Robert Byers, Darl Byers, Ronald Byers, Lucille Cochran, Opal Hillman, Vada Horn and Donna Sample.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Ervin; and his children, Randall Byers (Vicki) of Upland, Tina Dobson (Wayne) and Lori Hamilton (Arron). He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends; and his cats.
