She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Hine and Erma Hine (Darnell); her siblings, Frances Neal, Maxine Greene, Ruthanna Hamm, Evalina Hedge, Virginia "Babe" Emmons, Hannah Hine and Joe Hine; and her daughter-in-law Teresa Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Smith, Janet Cory, Joyce Belcher (Steve) and Avon; her grandson Aaron Smith (Sadiemae); and her children, Ashley Adams (Kyle), Kyle Smith (Jaqueline), Amy Cory and Renee Glass (Jason). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
