He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Ireland and Anna Bell Ireland (Poole); his wife Marta McDaniel; his son Brian Ireland (Michelle) of Fishers; and his grandchildren, Latosha, Brandi, Mara and DaKota.
