She was predeceased by: her father Ed Courtney; and her brother Tom Courtney. She is survived by: her father Carolee Courtney; her husband Chip; her daughter Heather Helms-Suarez (William); her grandchildren, Kennedy, Liam and Gabriel Suarez; her stepgrandchild Bailey; her siblings, Monty and Susan Courtney; and her cousin Diane Trimble-Calloway. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID, a private service will take place.
