He was predeceased by: his parents, George MacDonald and Martha Ruth MacDonald (Grantham); his children, Michael Gary MacDonald and Billie Jo Buzbee; and his grandson Shelton Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Laura MacDonald; his daughters, Lisa Hooley (Ken) and Laurie Hedington (Ray); his grandchildren, Jonathan (Angela), Naomi (Joe), Joshua (Jamie), Amber (Kevin), Aric (Melody), Nathan (Brittany), Seth (Samantha), Sara (Luis), Rachael (Howard), Brant (Gentry) and Cameron (Maranda); and his sister Mary Hilton (Jack). He is also survived by thirty great grandchildren.
