With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Kaye Vicars of Thorntown, Indiana, born in Independence, West Virginia, who passed away on March 29, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John David and Ruth Ellen Turner Plott; her son Earnest Ray Vicars of Texas; and her sisters, Darlene Haddix and Dorothy Fortney.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Vicars, Roma Thomas, Rose Guin, Ruth Smith (Wayne) and Crystal Pugh; and her siblings, Penny McGinnis (Donald), John Edward Plott, James David Plott and Terry Allen Plott. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
