She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert H. Hicks and Reggie Mae Hicks (Roberts); her husband Gib Puckett; her former husband Flaud Long; her son Kevin Huebner; and her siblings, Doris Pickens, Jack Hicks and Earl Hicks.

She is survived by: her children, Summer Slankard (Mark), Duane Huebner (Sandy), Paul Huebner (Peggy), Jim Huebner (Lesley) and Craig Huebner (Paula); her stepchildren, Wendi Morgan, Ronda Ravellette (Tom) and Wayne Puckett; her brother Jim Hicks (Lee); and her former husband Paul L. Huebner. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the DeBaun Funeral Homes & Crematory (85 E Springhill Dr, Terre Haute, IN 47802). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
