We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2024, at the age of 82, Robert W. Rafter of Terre Haute, Indiana, born in Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rafter and Clara Schleicher Rafter; his brothers, John Rafter, Jerry Rafter and Tom Rafter; and his nephew John Rafter.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Archer Rafter; his children, Michelle Rafter Swick (Bob) of Rockville, IN and David Rafter Rafter (LeeAnn) of Terre Haute; his siblings, Eugene Rafter of Omaha, NB, Joan Whitehouse of Terre Haute, Rosemary Rafter, S. P. of St. Mary and Sue Rafter of Terre Haute; and his sister-in-law Judy Rafter of Arizona. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
