He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Planty and Eva Planty (LaValley). He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Planty; his brother Brice Planty; and his children, Tracy Williams (Jeff), Jeff Planty (Kathleen), John Planty (Elisa), Neil Planty II (Wendy), Brian Planty (JoAnn), Becky Planty and Kim DePeaux (Cathy). He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
