He is survived by: his daughter Mallory Boling; his grandson Kevin Sullivan; his mother Dalyce Conner; his sister Debi Boffeli; and his brother-in-law Michael Boffeli.

Donations in Gary's honor can be made to the Regional Hospital Oncology Center where the nurses cared for so much of his treatment, and he treated himself to turkey Manhattan's after each visit.
