He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Hettlinger and Pauline Hettlinger (Holler); his wife Lorraine Hettlinger (Bartholomew); his siblings, Julius, Erich, Rowland and Pauline Overdorf; his son-in-law Richard Swenson; his grandson Nicholas Hettlinger; and his great grandchildren, Hope and Faith Hettlinger.
He is survived by: his children, Delisa Swenson of Bradenton, Frank Hettlinger Jr. (Cheryl) of Bloomington Indiana, Chris Hutchins (John) of Ft. Wayne Indiana and Eric Hettlinger (Cindi) of Terre Haute. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DeBaun Funeral Homes & Crematory (85 E Springhill Dr, Terre Haute, IN 47802). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
