He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hempfling and Flora Howe (Bolton); and his brother Ralph Hempfling. He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Reinke; his siblings, Patricia Miller (Kenny), Carolyn Baugh (Jim), Linda Albin (Steve), Bonnie Schnerr (David), Jerry Hempfling (Martha), Larry Hempfling, Shirley Robbins (Mark) and Diane Litkenhus (Steve); his grandsons, Brandon and Colby Reinke; his sister-in-law Regina Hempfling; and his pet Spirit.
