He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hensley and Anna Hensley (Hall); his former wife Edna Hensley (Night); his wife Ruth Hensley (Wheet); his son Donald Hensley; and his siblings, Bethel "Lorraine" Props, Nova Sturgeon and Albert Hensley.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Enlow (Ervin), Doolittle Mills, John Hensley, Wanda Hensley (Terry Wright), Lisa Owens (Tim), Dexter Hensley, Reda Hensley and Floyd Knobs; and his siblings, Ethel Underhill and Lester Hensley. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
