She is survived by: her husband Gary Starkey of Tell City; her sons, Mark Newton (Jackie Bivens) of Derby and Terry Newton (Darlene) of Tell City; her daughter-in-law Peggy Newton of Rocky Point; her stepchildren, Phillip Starkey, Stephen Starkey, Tracy Stuteville and Jon Starkey; and her grandchildren, Leah Riley (Justin), Emily Knight (Nick), Brad Newton (Brandy), John Mark Newton (Audrey), Stephanie Newton (Blake Kennedy), Chris Newton and Eric Newton (Nicole). She is also survived by 3 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
