He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Groves and Marie Groves (Brunner); and his brothers, Larry and Don Groves. He is survived by: his daughter Breann Groves (Jonathan Rice) of Lewisport; his brothers, Jimmy Groves (Eva) of Tell City and Denny Groves of Lynn Haven, FL; and his grandchildren, Kenadee Groves and Ashlynn Groves.
