He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arnold and Mabel James (Curl); his siblings, Thomas, Eugene, Jerry James, Mary Button and Sharon James; his grandchildren, Jeremy James and Kyle James; and his great grandchild Kristen White.
He is survived by: his wife Daisy James; his children, Mary Beertzer, Roger James, Donald James, Kathy Clayton, Lana Howe (Denny), Sheila Leisman (Randy), Ferdinand, Kevin James and Doyle James (Karen) of Hawesville, KY; and his siblings, Charles James (Gloria), Troy, Larry James, Julius James, Delbert James, Janice James and Donald James. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Cemetery in Derby.
