She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Shannon and Betty Shannon (Mahnke); her husband Kenneth Miller; and her siblings, William Shannon, James P. Shannon, Peggy Kambesthad and Sharon Johnson (Robert).
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Lavengood (Daniel) of Augusta, GA, Jeffrey Miller of Sweetser and Shelly Jones of Marion; her grandchildren, Jason Lavengood (Jessica), Danielle Hughes (Sean), Dr. Samantha Boucher (Ben), Dr. Matthew Lavengood (Sarah), Madison Edmondson (Eric), Austin Miller (AniElise), Alexis Miller (Johnathon Goode), Lindsay Curless (Chris) and Tiffany Lassiter; and her sisters, Marlene Lane and Geraldine Edwards (James). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
