He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Leroy Wright and Ethel Marie Houser Wright; and his siblings, Rocky Wright, Michael Wright, Vicki, Linda and Trisha Wright.

He is survived by: his wife Constance Wright; his daughters, Lisa Southwood (Rick) of Sullivan, IN, Tracy Walker (Danny) of Sullivan, IN and Robin Wright of Sullivan, IN; his stepchildren, James VanMeter (Lisa) of Kentucky and Monna VanMeter of Kentucky; and his brothers, Ronnie Wright (Darlene) of Lewis, IN and Larry Wright of Terre Haute, IN. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
