We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2019, at the age of 93, Roy Sewell (Sullivan, Indiana), born in Cumberland, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sewell and Ada Smith Sewell; his wife Zelma Johnson Sewell; and his siblings, Irene Hoots, Johnny, Paul, Willie, Fred, Millard and Robert Sewell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Phyllis Kennedy (Dale) of Sullivan and Rebecca Doty (Grant) of Leesburg; his siblings, Hall Sewell of Clearwater, Bud Sewell (Betty) of Columbia, Bobby Sewell (Mary Catherine) of Louisville and Lucy Mae Hatcher of Louisville; his grandchildren, Scott Kennedy (Bridget), Meribeth Yeary (Mike) and Rob Doty (Ally); his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Taryn, Sydney, Conner and Olivia; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Alli and Briana.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Church of Nazarene Building Fund.
