It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen P. Scott of Sullivan, Indiana, born in Keyser, West Virginia, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Beard and Ella McCombs Beard; her husband Luther Scott; her sons, Luther W. Scott and Bernard A. Scott; and her sister Barbara Roark.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Latshaw (Jeff) of Oaktown, Patricia Penrod of Oaktown and Pamela Pirtle (John) of Merom; and her grandchildren, Shaun Scott, Nikki Amburgey, Victoria McKinnon, Scott Latshaw, Brandi Grable, Jacki Tindall, Jodi Fox, Leslie Lawrence and Jamie Penrod. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
