He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Walls and Jeanette Richards; his daughter Avalyn Richards of Washington; his sisters, Katie Coatney of Vincennes, Katie Howell of Linton and Kaki Coleman of Terre Haute; and his nephews, Joshua Conrad of Vincennes and Nivek Harris of Vincennes.
