It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lighter of Spencer, Indiana, born in Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on May 17, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar "Bud" Lighter and Laura Louise Lighter (Hardin); his siblings, Wanda Rush and Terry Lighter; and his nephew Gary Lighter.
He is survived by: his wife Wilda Sue Lighter (Keefover); his children, Denise West (Doug), Robert B. "Rob" Lighter, II and Tim Lighter (Melanie); his grandchildren, Kayla Goble, Kevin Goble, Kyle Goble, Samaritan Lighter and McKenzie Lighter-Booher (Lucas); his stepgrandchild Tyra West-Pitman (Jimmy); his stepgreat-grandchild Taggertt Pitman; and his sister-in-law Wilta Lighter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
