He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Whitlow and Mildred Whitlow (Buchanan); his siblings, Robert Whitlow and Nancy Davidson; and his half-siblings, Ervin and Mildred Ridlen (Whitlow).
He is survived by: his wife Maggie Whitlow of Spencer; his children, Dawn VanPelt (Rich) of Bloomington, Michelle Whitlow of Indianapolis and A. J. Whitlow (Heather) of Ellettsville; and his stepchildren, Jennifer Deckard (Brett) of Bedford and Mike Pitman (Becky) of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
