We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2021, at the age of 88, Harold D. Merchant of Spencer, Indiana, born in Maxwell, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Merchant and Lesta Merchant (Reed); and his brothers, Paul Eugene Merchant and Larry Charles Merchant. He is survived by: his wife Arlene (Davis); his sons, Donald Merchant (Tracy) and Brian Merchant; his grandchildren, John Paul Levi Merchant, Anthony Merchant (Kayla), Adam Merchant (Brianna), Jessica Merchant and Lacy Merchant; his great grandchildren, Rosealie, Victoria, Alani, Madison, Lydia, Piper, Jack, Kennedy, Mattee and Bentlee; and his siblings, Kenneth Merchant (Nancy), Doris Hammond (James) and Betty Floyd.

Memorial contributions can be made in his name to Riley Children's Hospital or the Owen County Humane Society.
