Gretchen Scholl Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2021, at the age of 79, Gretchen Scholl of Spencer, Indiana, born in West College Corner, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Luther and Mary Bothast (Swingly); her son Brian Carter Scholl; and her sister Veronica Young. She is survived by: her husband Lewis Scholl; her children, Christine Jarrett (Jeff) of Washington, IN and Ken Scholl of Tacoma, WA; her sister Penny Mergenthal; her grandchildren, Morgan Jarrett, Austin Jarrett, Ellie Brachman (Jake), Gracen Jarrett, Claire Jarrett, Owen Jarrett and Adeline Jarrett; and her great grandchild Quincey Illeen Brachman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Owen County Community Foundation or Spencer Presbyterian Food Pantry.
