He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald R. Ranard and Bessie Ranard (Carpenter); his wife Wilma Hutcherson Ranard; and his siblings, Barbara Addie, Mary Lee Ranard and Jimmy Ranard.
He is survived by: his sons, Donnie Ranard (Kris) of Spencer and Danny Ranard (Brandy) of Jasonville; his stepchildren, Douglas Hutcherson (Maxine) of Spencer, Donnetta Herrington (William) of Spencer, Darren Hutcherson (Tonya) of Spencer and David "Jamie" Hutcherson of Spencer; his sisters, Judy Harris (Clyde) of Spencer and Carolyn Lewis (Dave) of Whitehall; and his grandchildren, Destiny, Tony, Ty, Dustin, Hannah, Justin, Cassie, Dylen and Jacey. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
