With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ross Harley Nifong in South Bend, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Nifong and Loretta Nifong (Harley); his children, Becky Marie and Russell; and his brother Loren Nifong.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Nifong; his children, James Nifong (Justina), Mark Nifong (Michelle), Peggy Stamper (Jordon), Jonathan Miller (Chrissy) and Katie Day (Michael); his grandchildren, Olivia, Julia, Memphis, Oren and Nora; his brothers, Larry Nifong (Sarah) and Ron Nifong (Mary Clare); and his former wife Nancy Martin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home (1100 N Michigan St, Plymouth, IN 46563). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1300 Chester St, Plymouth, IN 46563).
In honor of Ross, memorial contributions can be made to the Marshall County 4-H Fairgrounds or to a local FFA Chapter.
