It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn J. Chrzan of South Bend, Indiana, born in Niles, Michigan, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Marilyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Marilyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Marilyn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah "Chick" Chrzan and Antionette Chrzan (Grabarz); and her brother James A. Chrzan. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Carolyn Chrzan (Bujeker); her nephew Jeff Chrzan; her niece Nicole Chrzan (Carr); and her great-nieces, Madison, Harper and Grace.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (52473 State Hwy 933, South Bend, IN 46637). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
