It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther T. Lips of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Wroblewski and Wanda Wroblewski (Herman); her husband Robert P. Lips; her sons, William and James Lips; her sons-in-law, Tony Miller and Jeff Lotz; and her sister Irene Stachowicz.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lips of Sarasota, FL, Tim Lips of Greenville, SC, Anne Miller of Tucson, AZ and Janet Lotz of Arden, NC; her grandchildren, Marie Kelly (Bill), Mallory Miller (Renita), Matthew Lips, Eric Ellenbogen (Sarah), Alex Ellenbogen, Haley Smith (Grayson) and Hannah Lawrence (Jelani); and her great grandchildren, Sean, Thomas Kelly, Carolynn Lips and Charli Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kaniewski Funeral Home (3545 N Bendix Dr, South Bend, IN 46628). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (2822 Corpus Christi Dr, South Bend, IN 46628).
