He is survived by: his wife Katrina Funnell (McClain); his children, Heather Mitchell (TJ), Yvonne, Tristan Funnell (Stephine) and Donald Funnell, III; his stepchildren, Aja Mason, Osiris Rish, Thaddeus Rish and Leonidas Rish; and his sisters, Darlene Whidup (Dean), Debbie Eyestone and Ruth Funnell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
