With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard H. Emmons of Shoals, Indiana, who passed away on July 21, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Emmons and Thelma Emmons (Gammon); his wife Nina R. Barnes; and his siblings, Ida Jones Bye and Danny Lee Emmons.
He is survived by: his children, Araminta Bauernfiend (Ernie) of Shoals, Carla Kern (Bill) of Dubois and Chuck Emmons (Shelly) of Shoals; his grandchildren, Tracy Spurgeon (Rick), Jerad Emmons (Toni), Justin Emmons (Rachael), Lindsey McKeag (Ian), Tiffany Wittmer (Adam), Erica Carie (Clint), Scott Kern (Tori), Andrew Kern and Luke Kern; and his siblings, Wilma Darlene Able of Mitchell and Charles Emmons (Fay). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and one on the way; one great-great-granddaughter.
