He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Bowman and Roxie Bowman (Ferguson); his wife Maggie Ramseyer Bowman; his son-in-law Philip Klapper; his sister Rosalee Seward (William); and his grandson Zachary Butts.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel Bowman (Debbie), Steve Bowman (Margaret), Sidney Bowman (Rhonda) and Susan Klapper; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Lowe (Chris), Cameron Bowman (Lauren), Stacy Gilvin, Joshua Bowman, Jamie Bolduc (Charlie), Jennifer Bowman, Meghan Meneely (Tony), Anna Williams (Sidney), Naomi Pore (Mark), Oliver Bowman, Mary Elizabeth Weiss (Zachariah), Adam Klapper, Caroline Vance (Trent) and Seth Klapper (Cara). He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
