With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Dale Johnson of Scottsburg, Indiana, born in Austin, Indiana, who passed away on November 9, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Johnson and Mary Johnson (Thompson); and his brothers, Jerold "J. J." and Marvin Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Johnson (Mount); his sons, Steve Johnson (Paula) of Scottsburg, David Johnson of Scottsburg and Gary Johnson (Rhonda) of Salem, Indiana; his siblings, Ronald Johnson (Wanda) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Marilou Baldwin of Chicago, Illinois; his grandchildren, Matthew Johnson (Lindsey), Jordan Johnson (Dara), Emily Richards (Josh), Zachary Johnson and Molly Nice (Trevor); and his great grandchildren, Stella, Owen, Emma, Norah Richards and Lennon Nice.
Visitation and services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Little York United Methodist Church or Mount Cemetery c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
