She was predeceased by: her parents, George Howard McGinnis and Doris M. McGinnis (Langhorst); her husband James L. Kennedy; and her brothers-in-law, Marvin Bixler, Tom and Robert Kennedy.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Kennedy (Mechelle) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Jennifer Lawson (Toby) of Scottsburg, Indiana and Kim Kiefer (Brian Hopkins) of Scottsburg, Indiana; her siblings, Roxanna Bixler of Scottsburg, Indiana, Darlene Amick (David) of Scottsburg, Indiana and Kim McGinnis (Karen) of Salem, Indiana; her siblings-in-law, Beth Buckel (Eddie) of Scottsburg, Indiana and Kenneth Cowles (Nikki) of Brush Creek, Tennessee; her aunt Ruth Langhorst of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and her grandchildren, Alexis Woodall (Cody), Kyle Kiefer, Haley Bryant, Gracie Hopkins, Trevor and Kailey Lawson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
