He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Jent, Sr. and Emma Mae Jent (Lewis); and his sisters, Loretta Doane and Pamela Jent. He is survived by: his close friend Lorraine Short of Scottsburg, Indiana; his children, Mindy Jent of Scottsburg, Julia Paige Jent of Austin, Indiana, Herbert Jent, III of Largo and Daniel Keith Jent of Brookhaven, Mississippi; and his sisters, Tina Crowe of Lexington, Angela Crowe of Lexington and Debra Crowe of Scottsburg, Indiana. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
